- We use Plaid, Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect your Ownible account with your bank account, verify your bank account and confirm your bank account balance prior to approving a transaction. Information shared with Plaid is treated by Plaid in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy.
- As part of a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets. If such a transfer results in a material change in the treatment of your Personal Information, you will be notified by email (using the email address on your Account Information) or by a prominent notice on our site.
- For Legal Reasons. We reserve the right to transfer or disclose information about you to third parties for required legal purposes, and as permitted by law.
- To Prevent Fraud. We reserve the right to transfer or disclose information about you to third parties to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims, or other liability, and for required institutional risk controls.

For example, you may receive an email or text from Homie if you took an action through the Services such as advertising a home for sale or requesting to tour or make an offer on a home. You can manage your receipt of certain communication by following the instructions included in the communication or by modifying your notification preferences under Account Settings. Please note that, even if you unsubscribe from certain communications, we may still contact you with important transactional or administrative information.
- With Your Consent. There may also be other limited contexts in which we share specific types of personal information with your express consent.
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction.
RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We store your personal information securely throughout the life of your Account. We only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting obligations or to resolve disputes. Accessing and Updating Your Account Information
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your Account Information. You are also responsible for the safety of your login information and Account Information.You can access and make changes to certain Account Information by logging in to your account through our Services and updating your “Account Information” page.

You can manage your communications preferences by visiting your account profile. We include “unsubscribe” instructions in marketing emails. You also have the ability to adjust app- or browser-specific communications settings within the settings screen of your mobile app or browser. Canceling Your Membership and Deactivating Your Account
